The Skilljar Accessibility Conformance Report is designed to address the compliance of Skilljar with WCAG 2.2 standards, level AA. This report applies to the Learner Experience only, as detailed below.

Skilljar’s most current theme version, Theme v3, has been evaluated.

“Learner Experience,”  “Skilljar Platform,” and “The Platform" all refer to Skilljar's web application as used by a learner. This report applies to the default Skilljar learner experience. Plugins, embeds, and additional customization, code, and content must be independently verified.

Evaluation Methods Used:

Initial internal evaluations were conducted on Google Chrome using:

  • Google Lighthouse automated extension
  • Manual tests with WCAG guidelines
  • Mac Voice Over

Three additional external evaluations of the platform have been done:

  • One evaluation used the Deque Axe extension tool and an external auditing service for manual checks.
  • The second used a combination of manual checks and automatic tools, including A11y, Wave/Web Aim, Google Lighthouse Tools, and Deque tools.
  • The third used the external tool Accessibility Insights for the Web automated extension as well as manual checks.

New features on the platform are now evaluated with the following on Google Chrome:

  • Manual checks recommended by WCAG resources, as well as the
  • SiteImprove Accessibility automated web checker
  • Mac VoiceOver
