Skilljar "Best Place to Work" Built In

Skilljar was named a 2022 “Best Place to Work” by Built In, the online community for startups and tech companies.

Why should you join Skilljar instead of working anywhere else?

To answer this question, according to Workology, we must define the essence of our company, Skilljar — how we’re unique and what we stand for. Of course, my co-founder, Jason Stewart, and I have been thinking about this since we founded Skilljar in 2013. At that time, we saw that companies were developing software and technology with great potential, but users were struggling to put these innovations to work. Product education was the missing link and legacy tools were frustrating Customer Education teams in their efforts to engage and educate users. The legacy Learning Management System (LMS) tools were outdated, built for internal employee training, and siloed from other business systems.

So we got to work on a customer education software solution that would turn new customers into successful users and brand advocates.

Fast forward to today – we’ve enjoyed fantastic growth and received numerous industry acknowledgments including being named to the Inc 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America and a “Technology Fast 500” Company by Deloitte for 2021. I also couldn’t be more proud to share that  Skilljar has won 16 winter badges from the customer review site, G2, including Best Relationship, Easiest to do Business With, Easiest to Use, High Performer, Leader, and Users Most Likely to Recommend. To reach these heights requires a team of enormously talented and passionate people.

Build a Great Career with Meaning and Impact at Skilljar

Here are a few key reasons why we believe you should join Skilljar instead of anywhere else:

A Mission Worth Believing In

The biggest problem I see in this country today is growing inequality and an increasing skills gap, especially as we move more towards a knowledge workforce and continuous learning and re-skilling in careers. At the same time, it is critical for businesses to drive the successful usage of their digital products and services, especially in a subscription-based world where if customers don’t use the product, they are going to churn.

With nearly 20 million hours of education delivered, Skilljar is helping millions of people around the world gain job-relevant skills in a rapidly changing economy. We’re delivering business outcomes for our customers, innovating in an exciting new category, and driving impact to narrow the global skills gap.

At Skilljar, we also believe that companies have a role to play in driving social outcomes, which is why we’ve joined the Pledge 1% movement, committing 1% of our equity to be donated to philanthropic causes.

Growth Potential Galore
