At Skilljar, we believe that education is the key to unlocking technology’s benefits for individuals, organizations, and society. Our journey started when our co-founders, Sandi and Jason, saw that companies were developing software and technology with great potential, but users were struggling to put these innovations to work. Product education was the missing link and legacy tools were frustrating Customer Education teams in their efforts to engage and educate users. These legacy LMS tools were dated, hard to navigate, and siloed from other business systems. So we got to work.
We’ve built Skilljar to be the best customer education platform in the world. Companies such as Tableau, Verizon, Zenefits, and hundreds more use Skilljar to accelerate product adoption and increase customer retention. But, we’re just getting started.

CEO & Co-founder
Sandi Lin is the CEO and Co-founder of Skilljar. Prior to Skilljar, she led product management teams at Amazon. Sandi has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
CTO & Co-founder
Jason Stewart is the CTO and Co-founder of Skilljar. Prior to Skilljar, he was an engineering manager at Amazon, building robust, large-scale web applications. Jason also worked on the engineering teams of several software startups. He is a graduate of Carleton College.
Vice President, Marketing
Aashish Dhamdhere joined Skilljar in June 2018 as the Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Skilljar, Aashish was the Vice President of Marketing at Amperity, and built the global demand generation function at Apptio. He was also the Vice President of Customer Acquisition at LiquidPlanner. Aashish served in various Product and Program Management roles on the Visio and Azure teams at Microsoft. He earned a Masters in Material Science from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Vice President, Sales
Ray Carroll joined Skilljar in September 2019 as the Vice President of Sales. Carroll has more than 15 years of experience in building and leading startup go-to-market organizations as an executive, advisor, and investor. Prior to Skilljar, Carroll was the 28th employee at marketing technology company, Marketo, where he helped drive the company’s success from small-scale startup to IPO. He then joined account-based marketing software company, Engagio, where he built the revenue function and team from the ground up.

Vice President, Customer Success
Sara Robba joined Skilljar in 2016. In that time, she has helped hundreds of companies implement or transform their customer education programs to drive product adoption and customer retention. As the VP of Customer Success at Skilljar, she oversees the Customer Success and Implementation teams. Sara is a lifelong learner and has completed two online university degrees including a Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations at Penn State University.
