Our journey started when our co-founders, Sandi and Jason, saw that companies were developing software and technology with great potential, but users were struggling to put these innovations to work. Product education was the missing link and legacy tools were frustrating Customer Education teams in their efforts to engage and educate users. These legacy LMS tools were dated, hard to navigate, and siloed from other business systems. So we got to work.

Sandi Lin is the CEO and Co-founder of Skilljar. Prior to Skilljar, she led product management teams at Amazon. Sandi has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
CTO & Co-founder
Jason Stewart is the CTO and Co-founder of Skilljar. Prior to Skilljar, he was an engineering manager at Amazon, building robust, large-scale web applications. Jason also worked on the engineering teams of several software startups. He is a graduate of Carleton College.

Vice President, Customer Success
Sara Robba joined Skilljar in 2016. In that time, she has helped hundreds of companies implement or transform their customer education programs to drive product adoption and customer retention. As the VP of Customer Success at Skilljar, she oversees the Customer Success and Implementation teams. Sara is a lifelong learner and has completed two online university degrees including a Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations at Penn State University.
Chief Revenue Officer
Kathy joined Skilljar in January 2021 as Chief Revenue Officer. She brings more than 25 years of sales and executive management experience at startups and major software companies. Kathy has a long track record of sales accomplishments, including leadership roles at Intacct/Sage, Proofpoint, Biz360, and Trading Dynamics/Ariba. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Vice President, Marketing
Michael joined Skilljar with 20+ years of marketing, strategy, and operations experience across a broad set of industries, from startups to the Fortune 100. Most recently, Michael was the CMO at Certent (acquired by Insightsoftware), a SaaS provider for equity management and financial reporting software. Prior to that, he held a number of roles of increasing responsibility and leadership at companies such as Adaptive Insights (acquired by Workday), Highfive, ShoreTel, Mecalux, Teleflora, The Walt Disney Company, and Maersk. Michael has a BA in Communications Studies from University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA, also from UCLA – The Anderson School of Management.

With over 22 years of experience in software development and technology leadership, Abdel brings extensive experience in building and scaling engineering teams. Since joining Skilljar in 2019, he’s been supporting the engineering organization, focusing on scaling our teams and processes in support of product development. Prior to Skilljar, Abdel held multiple technology leadership roles at various companies in the Seattle area. Abdel holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.S. in Software Engineering from Seattle University.

Niran joined Skilljar in July 2021 inspired by the company’s vision of unlocking technology’s benefits for society through education and its customer focus value. Most recently, Niran was VP Product at Eightfold, where he is most proud of a responsible AI that helps people find their right career. He contributed to Eightfold’s journey from humble beginnings to users in 100+ countries and a $2.1B valuation over 3 years. Prior to this, Niran was head of shopping personalization platform at Bloomreach where he also oversaw the product training initiatives for customers. Niran has engineering degrees from Indian Institute of Technology and MIT and an MBA from Harvard.
