Today, ahead of Giving Tuesday, Skilljar, alongside the Pledge 1% Movement, rang the virtual NASDAQ opening bell.
The Pledge 1% Movement empowers businesses to donate 1% of their staff time, product, profit, and/or equity to a charity of their choosing. Skilljar joined Pledge 1% because we believe that businesses have a responsibility to give back to their communities. We see firsthand the role that companies, governments, and nonprofits play in driving social outcomes, and Skilljar’s mission to transform innovation into impact with education, blends seamlessly with this initiative. That’s why we have committed 1% of our equity to be donated to philanthropic causes.
